About China Tea House

China Tea House is a free, independent guide to Chinese tea. We help tea drinkers explore the world of Chinese tea with clear, practical information.

Making Chinese Tea Accessible

Chinese tea can feel overwhelming. Hundreds of teas, dozens of regions, and countless brewing traditions make it hard to know where to start. We organize Chinese tea into clear categories, explain the basics, and let you compare teas side by side so you can find what you love.

How the Information Is Maintained

China Tea House is an independent editorial and data project. Tea profiles are organized from a structured reference dataset so category, origin, flavor, caffeine, brewing, and price fields can be compared consistently.

Those fields are starting points, not universal measurements. Harvest, cultivar, storage, water, leaf grade, and preparation can all change the cup. Price ranges are market orientation—not current offers—and caffeine labels are relative rather than laboratory results.

We do not publish seller ratings, customer reviews, or product claims that we have not collected. When a page lacks a primary source, it says so through its editorial note. Corrections and source suggestions are welcome through the contact page.
